We provide expert coaching in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

We have 500 members age 6 to 16 years

Proven success: YAC athletes have gone on to compete for county, England and GB Juniors

Our senior coaches are England Athletics qualified with DBS, some compete for GB Masters

We have winning teams – Surrey Teams Champions, Sportshall Champions, Cross Country

We run Training Camps in Easter and Summer holidays

We have top facilities: 8 lane all-weather athletics track with floodlights and all amenities

Young Athletes Club was launched 14 years ago in 2011 by Virginia and Tony Mitchell, GB Masters athletes.

Virginia is a World and European Champion Masters athlete in 400m and 800m and she and Tony bring many years in the sport and a wealth of athlete experience and enthusiasm to their coaching.

Virginia and Tony say: “As GB athletes ourselves, we love what we do and we know our athletes and parents love it too. We have a fantastic team of coaches who share our aim to help each child be the best they can be in their athletics”.
