A fitting end to an excellent cross country season with sunshine and blue skies at Priory Park and YAC athletes taking the honours to win the team trophy in 3 out of our 4 age key groups.
56 athletes from YAC and a total of 262 athletes took part from all Border League clubs. The course started with a loop around playing fields, a muddy section through the woods and then led back out around the lake into sunshine for a stretch up and down hill to the finish.
We are delighted to win 3 team trophies and 2 have two overall race winners:
Sylvie Webb U9 girls and Finlay Palmer U11 boys plus so many medal winners in the top 6!
We congratulate all our YAC athletes who have raced with grit and determination over the season.
